| Join The Outing Lisdoonvarna this year for a first of its kind in the world event! The Outing LOVE BOAT will set sail on THE QUEEN OF ARAN with a handsome crew providing lights, fun, and two hours of music with DJ Mo (of ‘The George’ & ‘Club Tease’). The LOVE BOAT will set sail on Saturday 8th October, from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Everyone is invited and you may bring your own beverages. Transfer bus to Doolin Pier is available from the Hydro Hotel in Lisdoonvarna at 5.00 pm or you can meet at the boat. There is no extra charge for the bus transfer, just show your ticket as proof of purchase. Tickets are €20 pp if you have purchased other Outing events. Places are limited so book yours here! Please note all guests must be over the age of 18.

| The winning song in the Eurovision competition was “Rock ‘n’ Roll Kids“. The music and lyrics for the song were written by Brendan Graham. Harrington and McGettigan were the first group in Eurovision history to have been awarded more than 200 points (226), and their win was the third consecutive for Ireland, representing the first hat trick to have been achieved by any nation. Harrington returned to Eurovision in 1998, backing Dawn Martin when she performed “Is Always Over Now” at the contest in Birmingham. He was not named at the contest as one of the performers. | |

Tour of Spa Well Lisdoonvarna |
| Lisdoonvarna Spa Wells is a site of Geological importance and as a result have been designated a Geopark Geosite. Lisdoonvarna is best known for its Spa Centre and its festivals. The town of Lisdoonvarna is built on a geological unit known as the Clare Shales, which lie directly on top of the limestone that comprises most of the Burren. The limestone is exposed in the beds of the rivers which flow through the town. For over 300 years, the waters that flow from springs in the Clare Shale in Lisdoonvarna have attracted visitors for their curative properties. The waters are rich in sulphur and iron and in 1875 the first bath-house was built. | |
